5th and 6th Haiku poems and bonfires!
5th and 6th class enjoying music with Harry and Mrs Sherlock . We're loving Riptide accompanied by the ukuleles and guitars ! Also working on some Christy Moore and our own Carnaross March and Carnaross Jig ( Bryan Daly's Jig ) to cross over with 1916 history . Looking forward to end of year concert already !
5th and 6th class enjoyed making ‘The Boat of Hope’ Wire base ..... Clad in papier mâché .....resin .... Paint ..... Varnish ..,.. Messages of hope from all children in the school ..... Carnaross flag ..... Eco Eddie .... Global goal sail ..... And lashing of enthusiasm . We can't wait for some good weather to officially launch her !
Well done 5th and 6th for all the time and effort in making the Christmas bags in aid of Aidlink - Turkana primary school .  €450 raised in total . Also a big thank you to all the other classes who helped out with all the painstaking cutting , cutting and sticking !!!!! Many hands make light work indeed .  We're very proud of your commitment and goodwill .

6th are busy working on their project for Eco Unesco Young Environmentalist of the Year . This year they have decided to build on the popularity and success of the Eco Eddie Book and create a matching boards game . If you have an interest in green matters , having fun, colouring and designing , quizzes ..... Watch this space as we have just the game for you

a very happy 5th an 6th with their Clay Christmas Candle Holders!
5th and 6th class enjoyed an early outing this year. We attended a stage production of Michael Morpurgo's Private Peaceful at The Solstice Theatre Navan .  We also visited Martry Mill - where the owner , James Tallon,  told us all about the workings and history  of the mill . We had a great day!
